Glencore is seeking graduates to join its Risk Management Graduate Programme. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work alongside front-line traders and operators within Middle Office Risk, Market Risk, and Credit Risk. Risk managers are responsible for monitoring exposure, validating mark-to-markets, and producing P&L reports and risk metrics. Candidates will work closely with trading teams to ensure accurate data and proper hedging aligned with strategy. This role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a good grasp of coding (or a willingness to learn). Communication and relationship management are essential, as risk managers must maintain independence while adding value to the business.

Responsibilities

• Monitor physical and derivative risk exposures
• Produce daily profit and loss reports
• Validate mark-to-market values
• Support the execution of hedging strategies
• Collaborate with traders and provide real-time data insights

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in:
• Economics
• Finance
• Quantitative Finance
• Analytical mindset and strong numeracy
• Aptitude for coding (advantageous)
