Responsibilities

• Analyse and evaluate existing data systems and architectures
• Collaborate with data engineers to design and optimise data pipelines, particularly those handling API-sourced data
• Identify data integration, transformation, and automation requirements
• Manage and ensure the reliability of data ingestion from various APIs
• Provide production support for existing data systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
• Optimise data workflows for performance, scalability, and real-time processing
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Develop comprehensive documentation for API data processes, system architecture, and support procedures

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Certificates
• Proven experience as a Systems Analyst with a focus on data systems, API integration, and production support
• Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing
• Proficient in SQL, data integration tools, API handling, and scripting languages
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and API authentication methods
• Experience with cloud platforms (e
