Description

The Data Analyst will support RMB’s mission of innovation and impact by providing data analysis, root cause analysis, and long-term architecture solutions. The role focuses on understanding data sources, improving data pipelines, ensuring high data quality, and collaborating with stakeholders to support the bank’s data strategy. This includes supporting business needs through actionable insights and recommendations across various systems and teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and map data from various sources to enterprise systems
• Provide transformation rules and business logic to engineers
• Conduct time-series and classification data analysis
• Recommend changes to data pipelines and architecture
• Prepare business reports and presentations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements
• Ensure data quality, compliance, and alignment with business goals
• Identify new data assets and trends for innovation
• Participate in data forums, steerco meetings, and executive sessions
• Coach and guide junior data analysts
• Stay updated with local and global data trends

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Data Science (Honours preferred)
• 6–8 years of experience in analytics and data-related roles
