A great opportunity to join a growing and focused investment team as a Quant analyst. The role will require the development implementation of complex quantitative models and analytical strategies in both local and global capital markets, working within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Model Development & Enhancement: Maintain, improve, and evolve quantitative models and processes while researching new methodologies
• Fund & Portfolio Analysis: Analyze fund manager styles, holdings-based data, and perform risk decomposition, correlation studies, and POD analysis
• Data & Reporting Automation: Develop and maintain quantitative tools with automated reporting mechanisms for different asset classes
• Optimization & Portfolio Construction: Build and manage an optimization workspace for portfolio structuring
• Data Collection & Management: Gather, clean, and manage strategy data, ensuring smooth integration with data teams

Qualifications

• NQF Level 7 - Degree, Advance Diploma or Postgraduate Certificate or equivalent
