The JumpStart Retail Essentials Programme (REP) is designed to provide interns with foundational knowledge and hands-on experience in specialised retail roles. This six-month blended learning course combines theoretical training with practical work exposure, equipping interns with the skills needed to excel in a retail organisation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured learning modules covering customer experience, store location, marketing, and merchandising
• Assist in retail operations, including stock management, sales, and customer service
• Gain insights into store layout, product placement, and branding strategies
• Support marketing and promotional activities to drive customer engagement
• Work collaboratively with retail teams to enhance the shopping experience

Qualifications

• South African citizen
• Matriculated with at least one commerce subject
• Aged 18-33 years
• Unemployed
• No criminal record
