Description

The North West Department of Public Works and Roads offers a 12-month learnership program for individuals interested in building a career in public works and roads. This program provides a unique blend of theoretical learning and hands-on experience, fostering the essential skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the field. Participants will engage with a structured curriculum, encompassing both classroom-based assessments and real-world practical sessions. Under the mentorship of experienced training providers, learners will build confidence and industry-relevant expertise, making this program an excellent foundation for a public works career. Participants will receive a stipend of R2,500 per month throughout the program.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in theoretical and practical sessions
  • Work alongside professional mentors and follow structured learning modules
  • Engage in hands-on training to gain practical knowledge in public works and roads

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 certificate with Pure Mathematics
  • Reside in Mahikeng or nearby villages
  • Age between 18 and 35 years
  • Valid Curriculum Vitae
  • Certified copy of ID
  • Proof of residence
