To interpret the business requirement specification and translate into a detailed system design specification to enable the development of innovative, flexible and efficient solution of a business problem

Responsibilities

• The role involves making significant contributions during Impact Assessments, BRS walkthrough sessions, and system analysis
• This includes analyzing and documenting the current state of a system, designing new systems, and documenting changes to existing systems
• The role also involves identifying and documenting use cases, testing services, and mapping them
• The individual must produce all necessary design documentation for presentation to architects, developers, testing teams, and users
• They must also communicate effectively with stakeholders and demonstrate a good understanding of the business and IT system domain
• They can conduct and propose solutions during JADs, project meetings, and SA reviews, asking the right questions and independently approaching stakeholders for information
• They must ensure models and standards are done according to UML best practices, apply writing guidelines, and maintain up-to-date documentation

Qualifications

• The individual holds a BSc in Computer Science and Information Technology, has strong analytical skills, technical experience in Java, and is proficient in UML, Object-Oriented Design Foundations, APIs, Json, XML, Queues, Batch, SQL, and System Requirements Specification (SRS)
