Description

The City of Johannesburg is offering an 18-month internship for graduates to support the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Unit. The role involves providing administrative and logistical support, promoting the efficiency of EAP services, and assisting with data collection and reporting. Interns will gain hands-on experience in public administration while working in a professional, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate administrative requirements associated with employee assistance Programme functionality
  • Promote the efficiency of the Employee Assistance Programme
  • Collate and prepare qualitative and quantitative information for inclusion into specific statutory reports

Qualifications

  • National Diploma or Degree (NQF 6/7) in: Public Administration
  • Business Administration
  • Office Administration
  • Social Auxiliary
  • Social Sciences or equivalent qualification
  • Unemployed graduates who have not participated in an internship programme previously
  • Skills and Competencies: Computer Literacy - MS Office Applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently
  • High level of confidentiality and organisation skills
  • Ability to prioritise
