Description

The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) is offering an 18-month internship programme for suitably qualified and unemployed graduates. As an Intake Officer Intern, you will provide effective and comprehensive administrative support and logistical services to the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) unit, ensuring the unit’s efficiency. You will assist in coordinating the administrative needs associated with the EAP and contribute to the collation and preparation of reports.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the administrative requirements of the Employee Assistance Programme
  • Promote the efficiency of the Employee Assistance Programme
  • Collate and prepare both qualitative and quantitative information for statutory reports

Qualifications

  • National Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) in one of the following: Public Administration, Business Administration, Office Administration Administration, Business Management, Public Management
  • Unemployed graduates who have not participated in an internship programme previously
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently
  • High level of confidentiality and organizational skills
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Professionalism and adherence to confidentiality principles
  • Understanding of HR values, COJ values, and Batho Pele principles
