Description

We are looking for a skilled Test Analyst to join Open Banking team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of API testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. You will be responsible for validating RESTful and/or SOAP APIs, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability across our platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests for APIs
• Validate REST/SOAP API requests and responses, including status codes, headers, payloads, and error messages
• Work closely with developers and product managers to understand API requirements and use cases
• Use tools like Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, or similar to test and document APIs
• Write and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts
• Ensure APIs meet performance, security, and compliance standards

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in API testing or software QA
• Strong knowledge of RESTful and/or SOAP APIs
• Proficiency in tools like Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, or equivalent
• Experience with automated testing frameworks would be an advantage
• Familiarity with JSON, XML, HTTP methods, status codes, and authentication methods (OAuth, API Keys, JWT)
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
