The position requires close collaboration with Business Analysts and feature teams to validate functional and non-functional test requirements, prepare test scenarios, and oversee the execution of test cases. Responsibilities

• Enable software quality assurance by defining test scenarios and validating requirements
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and feature teams to prepare test data and environments
• Execute and oversee the testing process, ensuring compliance with defined quality standards
• Perform back-end and API testing, and conduct impact analysis for software changes
• Apply best practices in software testing, reporting, and tracking issues

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Software Testing or Information Technology, and a Grade 12 National Certificate/Vocational
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification and a National Diploma in Information Technology
• 2-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) testing
• Back-end testing experience
• Basic knowledge of API testing and impact analysis for software changes
• Understanding of the full SDLC and industry-standard best practices in Software Quality Assurance (SQA)
• Experience in test automation and coding
• Familiarity with continuous delivery environments and financial/banking systems
• Knowledge of SQL query fundamentals
• Experience using test tools
