Description

The Support Engineer (Visualisation) will be part of an agile team responsible for providing first-line application support and basic optimization for enterprise-wide tech products and services. This role involves administration, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of visualisation tools and infrastructure. The candidate will also participate in scheduled and unplanned maintenance activities, provide user documentation support, and work closely with various stakeholders across the product lifecycle to improve service delivery and performance.

  • Execute unplanned maintenance tasks, including disaster recovery procedures
  • Schedule and oversee planned support tasks such as backups and performance tuning
  • Documentation & Stakeholder Communication: Contribute to end-user documentation and support guides
  • Use documentation to assist users during support processes
  • Recommend improvements to documentation and applications based on support experiences
  • Ensure stakeholder dependencies are identified and addressed during support activities
  • Continuous Improvement & Risk Management: Identify risks related to application changes and maintenance
  • Comply with risk, governance, and control procedures
  • Maintain a detailed inventory of applications and associated technical details
