The Partnership Development Lead drives new business growth across South Africa by identifying and developing Quick Service Resturant and retail opportunities. The role focuses on strategic planning, market analysis, and relationship management to expand partnerships and boost non-fuel revenue within the bpSA network. Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new QSR and retail business opportunities across the bpSA retail network
• Conduct site assessments using GIS systems to analyze location viability
• Monitor consumer trends to position bpSA retail sites as key destinations
• Perform rental benchmarking and competitor analysis with a focus on forecourt operations
• Establish co-branding partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic alliances
• Act as a liaison among bp, franchisees, developers, and internal teams to ensure collaboration
• Manage rollout schedules and proactively resolve development barriers
• Interpret and negotiate lease agreements, ensuring legal and risk compliance
• Ensure new ventures meet local regulations, health and safety standards, and bp brand guidelines
• Monitor partnership performance and provide reports to senior management
• Develop innovative initiatives to enhance strategic partnerships
• Manage rental and utility accounts and resolve operational disputes

Qualifications

• Qualification in business or property related studies or minimum of 10 years Quick Service Restaurant development experience
