Description

To ensure products or services meet quality standards by defining the automated testing strategy and framework. This entails managing QA staff whom create and run both manual and automated tests, identifying errors, and providing feedback to developers.

Responsibilities

• Automated Testing: ➢ Develop test automation strategy for large complex projects in AGILE methodology ➢ Design Test Automation, Execution and Lead automation delivery using Selenium and Cucumber tools, ➢ Designing, creating Constructing and executing Automation test cases for REST API and Soap web services ➢ Experience in Selenium
• Nice to have Web Driver and TestNG, ➢ Contribute to team agile planning activities and backlog prioritization and management for QA team, ➢ Identify, verify, report, and regress bugs, ➢ Collaborates with product line stakeholders to understand and develop strategies, frameworks relating to their emerging demands, ➢ Driving innovation/adoption of Industry practices through investigation/institutionalization of new tools/methods/standards, ➢ Work with the development team to understand the technologies and develop / implement automated testing tools for data comparison and transformation (on Hadoop, Spark, Datameer,etc) ➢ A deep, practical understanding of SDLC processes including Requirements, Design, Development, Build, Release Management, and Quality Assurance
• ● Documentation: Creating detailed test plans, test cases, and bug reports
• ● Analysis: Analysing test results, identifying root causes of defects, and providing feedback to developers
• ● Collaboration: Working with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met
• ● Process Improvement: Contributing to the development and improvement of QA processes and procedures
• ● Mentoring and Upskilling QA personnel so that they can effectively operate within an automated QA environment

Qualifications

• Matric • Applicable degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent • Additional applicable certifications will be advantageous • SQL and read C# code • Min 8 years Overall QA or similar role • 4 – 6 years experience Automated QA role • 2 – 3 year demonstrated ability to design and implement detailed oriented automated testing protocols within the Financial Services or similar environment • Understanding of different testing methodologies and techniques • Ability to effectively communicate test results and feedback to developers and stakeholders • Ability to identify root causes of defects and suggest solutions • Ability to troubleshoot issues and find creative solutions
