Description

iOCO Talent is seeking experienced Senior and Lead Automation Tester professionals to join their Cape Town team. The role involves creating and updating automation frameworks, using technologies like C#, JavaScript, Selenium, and JMeter, and performing various testing types. Experience in CI/CD pipelines, test management tools, and Agile methodologies is required.

Responsibilities

Develop and update automation frameworks for testing
Conduct functional, API, mobile, back-end, and performance testing
Utilize testing tools and technologies to ensure quality software delivery
Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless testing integration
Provide guidance and leadership to the team, driving innovation and strategy
Perform testing-related tasks within an Agile framework
Debug and troubleshoot software to identify and resolve issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals

Qualifications

Relevant IT/Testing qualification
ISTQB certification
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a senior or lead testing role
Experience with creating frameworks from scratch and updating scripts on existing frameworks
Proficiency in C# and JavaScript (knowledge of Java and other technologies is beneficial)
Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, IntelliJ, RobotFramework, TestNG, or Cypress
Performance testing experience using JMeter
Expertise with CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to test management tools like QC, ALM, Azure DevOps, TFS, X-Ray, etc
Back-end (database) testing experience using SQL queries on Oracle and SQL Server databases
API testing knowledge with tools such as Postman, SOAP UI, or Rest Assured
