Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ in Midrand has an opportunity available for an Operational Support Intern to join the DC team. The role will assist the Supply Chain team with day-to-day operational support, system administration, and stakeholder coordination. The role provides hands-on experience in supply chain operations, logistics processes, and system monitoring while ensuring efficiency in workflow and data management

Responsibilities

• Supply Chain Support: Assist in monitoring supply chain system performance and identifying issues
• Support testing and implementation of system improvements and enhancements
• Maintain and update relevant master data in supply chain systems
• Provide regular feedback to the Junior Operation Support team
• Stakeholder Liaison: Establish and maintain a strong relationship with operational teams and stakeholders
• Act as the first point of contact for operational queries and escalate unresolved matters
• Deliver approachable and efficient knowledge services to all operations resources and stakeholders
• General Systems Administration: Support daily system health checks and ensure smooth integration of supply chain systems
• Log and manage HEAT calls according to Standard Operating Procedures
• Assist in compiling reports and analyzing data for operational improvements
• General: Adhere to Dis-Chem Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
• Adhere to Health and Safety rules and regulations

Qualifications

• Grade 12 – Matric
• Degree or Diploma in Transport Management or Supply-Chain/ Logistics
