We are excited to announce an internship opportunity starting from the 1st of September for EE candidates aged between 20 and 30 years who possess a completed qualification of at least NQF 5. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience and valuable skills in the field of Information Technology. As an intern, you will be involved in various aspects of technical support and research. Your responsibilities will include managing the technical support desk for FTTH (Fibre to the Home) and FTTB (Fibre to the Business), where you will utilize your knowledge of customer service to assist clients effectively. Additionally, you will be conducting research into a wide range of computing issues, with a particular focus on optic fibre, as well as processes and working practices within the IT sector. Your role will also encompass tasks related to networks and technologies, including voice and data installations, maintenance, and callouts. We are looking for candidates who have achieved an NQF5 qualification or possess a diploma in IT Fundamentals (ITF+), Information Technology, or ICT: Business Analysis. Ideal candidates should have a solid understanding of basic IT concepts, data, CPUs, and troubleshooting. Knowledge in computer devices and components, internet, storage, and computer systems is essential. Additionally, familiarity with networking and wireless technologies will be highly beneficial.
