Pedros is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join their IT team at the Head Office in Centurion. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of IT support experience and be responsible for delivering comprehensive technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, and supporting various IT projects and users across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues involving software, hardware, and networks
• Maintain and administer servers, network devices, and IT infrastructure
• Collaborate on IT projects, offering technical expertise and assistance
• Provide direct user support, including new account setups and access control
• Train and guide users to improve understanding of systems and applications
• Maintain records of technical issues, resolutions, and user requests
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and help implement security measures
• Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance and repairs
• Monitor system performance and report anomalies
• Provide emergency support during IT outages

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in IT support or related field
• In-depth knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Relevant IT certifications preferred (eg CompTIA, Microsoft)
