Description

Our client, a custom software development/digital supply chain business catering to the mining industry, currently seeks to appoint multiple Trainee Technicians to join their growing team in various parts of Northern Cape. These positions will report directly into the Senior Technician.

Responsibilities

• Working under supervision of Senior Technician
• Attending to site matters with the Senior Technician relating to basic customer problem-solving, providing operation and maintenance on client site
• Local installation and start-up support of pre-assembled products
• Deliver site reports, Job cards, travel expenses reports, Stock Reports, after all jobs performed
• Ensure proper fulfilment of all SHEQ rules and regulations of Company and the customer
• Perform safety inspection at workplace prior to start the job
• Correct usage of PPE
• Reporting any unsafe condition on site

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Recent IT graduate with A+ and N+ certification/ similar certification
• Willing to attend to compulsory training
• Flexibility to travel up to 75% of time is essential
• Willing to work standby and nightshift hours
• Valid driver’s license
