Description

The Business Analyst plays a key role at Xero and within the Product Team. You will collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to improve and build accounting software, test new features before launch, and identify opportunities to enhance management and reporting tools. Your expertise in software development, data science, or engineering will help shape the functionality and performance of our product offerings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to improve and build accounting software features
• Conduct rigorous testing of new software features before launch, ensuring they function correctly and meet user needs
• Analyse data and user feedback to identify opportunities to enhance management and reporting tools
• Work closely with the Customer Experience team to understand common customer challenges and develop effective solutions
• Implement and refine product development workflows, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions
• Utilise data science and engineering principles to improve the accuracy, performance, and usability of our financial software
• Ensure all product decisions are data-driven, leveraging analytics and insights to drive enhancements
• Support and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team

Qualifications

• A degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Analytics, other Sciences or a related field
