As a Data Science Intern in the HRM&D department, you will contribute to transforming human resources data into actionable insights that drive workforce optimization. You'll work on real-world HR datasets to uncover trends, develop predictive models, and support evidence-based decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to apply machine learning techniques and data visualization tools to challenges in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development.

Responsibilities

• Analyze HR data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement
• Develop and implement machine learning models to support forecasting and workforce planning
• Create dashboards and visual reports to communicate insights clearly and effectively
• Assist with automation of HR processes through scripts or data workflows
• Collaborate with HR teams to understand business questions and tailor data solutions accordingly
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality at all times
• Research and recommend best practices in people analytics and HR tech innovations

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, HR Analytics, or a related field
• Solid understanding of data science principles, including machine learning, data wrangling, and predictive analytics
• Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL; experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, matplotlib, seaborn)
• Familiarity with HR data, KPIs, or people analytics is an advantage
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
