Description

Sasol is seeking an experienced IT Auditor to execute and manage IT assurance activities, with a focus on cyber and information security engagements. The role involves conducting audits, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and mitigating information security risks impacting Sasol’s operations. The successful candidate will provide subject matter expertise, execute audit tasks within budget and quality requirements, and act as a liaison with clients while ensuring timely reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute IT audits, identifying risks and ensuring compliance
• Conduct audits to assess the effectiveness of internal system controls
• Prepare audit reports and working papers while ensuring timely reporting
• Execute planned and ad-hoc audits within budget and timelines
• Provide assurance on governance, compliance, and risk mitigation
• Contribute to the development of the annual assurance plan
• Stay updated on emerging developments in internal audit and IT security
• Engage with stakeholders and provide specialist advice

Qualifications

• University Bachelor’s Degree
• 6+ years of relevant experience
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or CA(SA) designation is advantageous
