Description

As an Information Technology Specialist, you will provide both onsite and remote IT support to the program staff, ensuring the operational efficiency of IT infrastructure. Working closely with the Deputy Chief of Party (Operations) and the U.S. IT Team, you will ensure compliance with Tetra Tech standards and address IT-related challenges to support program objectives.

Responsibilities

• IT Configuration and Setup: Configure project computers using WCD and Azure AD
• Set up user accounts, O365, and desktop applications
• Install and update software, service packs, and patches
• Device Management: Configure and maintain printers, peripherals, and project-issued smartphones
• Manage distribution and setup of IT devices
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Address and resolve computer, network, and infrastructure issues
• Monitor IT systems to ensure continuous operation (internet, network, and devices)
• Networking Support: Configure network devices (routers, switches, wireless access points)
• Optimize office wireless coverage in collaboration with the Home Office IT team
• Asset and Compliance Management: Maintain IT inventory and ensure compliance with Tetra Tech standards
• Support audits and ensure IT asset policy adherence
• Collaboration and Documentation: Work with teams to ensure IT systems meet program requirements
• Document IT configurations, issues, and resolutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant IT experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 setup and troubleshooting
• Advanced knowledge of networking, including routers, switches, Azure, Active Directory, and SharePoint
• Strong skills in troubleshooting Dell laptops and related hardware
• Experience using remote desktop software like TeamViewer
