Description

The First Work Experience Pay Programme will provide matriculants from 2023 and 2024 with work experience and training within one of the Western Cape Government Departments beginning 1 April 2025 until 31 March 2026. Responsibilities

• Participating in workshops and on-the-job training sessions
• Learning workplace protocols and standard operating procedures
• Assisting teams with project execution
• Helping with research, surveys, or data collection
• Providing logistical support for events or meetings

Qualifications

• You have written a National Senior Certificate exam (NSC) in the Western Cape in 2023 and 2024 academic year, and only applicants who passed the final examinations will be considered
• You are not going to study further in 2025
• No Work Experience
• you have not already studied after matric
• You are a South African citizen and reside in the Western Cape
• You are between the ages of 17 and 24
• You are not sure of the next step
