Responsible for delivery of all reports to hospitals wards and doctors’ rooms to ensure good service delivery and good turnaround times

Responsibilities

• Job Role Overview Registering for attendance according to standard operating procedures
• Prioritizing urgent results by printing report delivery lists
• Checking and sorting reports for efficient delivery
• Conducting hospital rounds, delivering reports, and collecting samples
• Adhering to health and safety good practice in accordance with relevant legislation
• Adhering to Lancet uniform protocols
• Recording laboratory numbers as proof of delivery
• Managing specimen queries and ensuring correct testing and sample identification
• Delivering preliminary and final patient reports to hospital wards
• Maintaining hospital files neatly and updating patient files
• Collecting urgent samples to maintain turnaround times
• Archiving raw data for traceability

Qualifications

• Minimum Criteria Required
• Grade 12 or relevant NQF level 4 qualification
