Description

This role is part of WesBank's Business Solutions under Operations, requiring the ability to manage complex projects, elicit customer, data, business, process, and technological requirements. The incumbent will design innovative business solutions that address WesBank's needs, ensuring the final solution meets initial requirements. They will also perform basic project management tasks, such as estimation, planning, and risk and issue management. The Business Analyst will work independently and advise the project team on solutions and designs. The role requires a level of maturity above junior/intermediary, allowing for stakeholder engagement and informed decision-making to build effective solutions and offer more to customers.

Responsibilities

• The role involves involving stakeholders in eliciting business requirements, capturing, validating, and managing them effectively
• It prioritizes requirements based on business, system, and time constraints, ensuring they meet quality standards
• The role also manages the delivery of analysis outputs, providing timely reporting of risks and issues
• It manages expectations with stakeholders, implements business processes according to benchmarks and Shared Values, reviews and reports on performance, and analyzes internal service delivery processes for innovative ideas and collaboration to improve processes, increase revenue, drive efficiencies, and minimize waste

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science or Information Systems\Technology or related technical or business field
• Honours degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical or business field
• Diploma in Business Analysis
