PEP is seeking a proactive, tech-savvy problem solver to join its Commercial Department as a Business Analyst. The role involves transforming business processes and empowering the PEPMoney team with cutting-edge systems and tools. As a Business Analyst, you will maintain and enhance existing processes, evaluate system performance, and drive innovation through research, design, and implementation of new solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, support, and improve existing business processes and technologies
  • Monitor and resolve system performance issues proactively
  • Provide system consulting, user support, and problem analysis
  • Research and recommend new solutions and process enhancements
  • Conduct solution analysis, design, and documentation, and manage change implementation plans
  • Design business processes and create detailed functional specifications
  • Test and implement new systems or updates
  • Oversee resource allocation and management
  • Develop detailed reports and specifications
  • Create and maintain user training manuals and standard operating procedures
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors
  • Participate in Agile Scrum project management
  • Stay updated on relevant regulations and ensure compliance
  • Manage ad hoc projects as required

Qualifications

  • Degree in Commercial, Business, or Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a systems or business analyst (preferably in financial services)
  • Above-average computer literacy (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Draw io)
  • Experience with business process management tools (eg Notion, JIRA)
  • Proficiency in User Acceptance Testing and business process mapping
  • Knowledge of Google BigQuery
  • Retail experience, specifically with point-of-sale systems, is critical
  • Accounting and reconciliation experience is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and business acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Resourceful, results-driven, self-motivated, and a team player
