Description

We are looking for highly professional individuals, with a specific focus on the personal and commercial lines businesses. The successful candidate will be accountable for actuarial functions which will contribute to the profitable development and financial results of the Group. Working closely with the senior management team across Product, Pricing, Underwriting and Claims Services you’ll contribute to the development and execution of the broader strategy.

Responsibilities

• • Balance profitability and growth through pricing and risk management
• • Monitor financial, underwriting, and distribution indicators
• • Create and maintain business reports for action-driven thinking
• • Contribute to internal data asset development and maintenance
• • Support process improvement and strategy evaluation
• • Participate in strategic projects requiring actuarial input
• • Support underwriting segmentation models
• • Incorporate market trends into product solution value chain
• • Develop product solutions for various market segments and channels
• • Conduct ad-hoc statistical investigations as needed

Qualifications

• • Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, or Computer Science
• • 3-5 years of general insurance experience
• • Advanced computer literacy in SAS, SQL, R, Python, Emblem
• • Strong modelling and data management skills
• • Ability to solve problems and present reports
• • Self-starter, problem solver, and finisher
