FlySafair is seeking a skilled Solutions Architect to design scalable and robust digital solutions that align with current and future business needs. The role involves innovation, collaboration, and leadership in delivering high-quality technical solutions that support the organisation's goals.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, robust digital solutions for current and future business needs
• Innovate and resolve complex challenges while ensuring feasibility and alignment with business goals
• Develop architectural blueprints, technical specifications, and integration strategies
• Map business solutions onto architectural frameworks, ensuring technical alignment
• Ensure compliance with technology standards and architectural principles
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify appropriate technologies
• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into solutions
• Evaluate and integrate external solutions through vendor and service provider engagements
• Act as a technical advisor, staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
• Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and deliver high-quality solutions
• Conduct risk assessments and provide mitigation strategies
• Support project teams in integrating solutions with existing platforms
• Implement secure coding, data protection, and identity management best practices
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural designs and decisions
• Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Essential)
• Postgraduate or Master’s degree (Beneficial)
• Minimum of 8 years of IT experience, including Solutions Architecture (Essential)
• Experience with cloud computing, SaaS, and PaaS solutions (Essential)
• Proven track record in leading digital transformation projects as a Solutions Architect (Essential)
• Extensive experience in digitization and Systems Architecture (Essential)
