Description

The role involves working with stakeholders to translate business needs into functional, non-functional, stakeholder, and transition requirements. It involves creating system process flows, data models, and technical specifications, collaborating with IT professionals, and contributing to continuous improvement by evaluating systems and recommending enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute workshops, presentations, and documentation sessions to elicit and analyze requirements
• Develop detailed technical and functional specifications from high-level requirements
• Break down complex requirements into manageable tasks for effective delivery
• Ensure requirements are clear, actionable, and align with business goals
• Create detailed business and technical documentation to address strategic, stakeholder, and system needs
• Work with product owners, system owners, and development teams to align architecture and integration initiatives
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure alignment with business strategy, IT architecture, and scalability needs
• Identify and resolve obstacles hindering team progress
• Track reviews, approvals, development, testing, and releases to meet or exceed timelines
• Act as a bridge between business and technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment
• Advocate for and implement best practices and standards in business and systems analysis

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a closely related field
• Business Analysis certification
• ITIL and/or TOGAF – Advantageous
• Agile certification – Advantageous
• AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Certification – Advantageous
• Valid Code B Driver’s License and own transport
• South African citizen or valid South African work permit
