Description

The individual manages IT solutions that integrate across business areas, focusing on NWU Library systems. They conduct systematic investigations, analyze, and document business functions and processes. They identify business needs and determine effective solutions, often involving systems development, process improvement, organizational change, documentation of functional requirements, and best practices. They ensure stakeholders have a shared understanding of the solutions and their implementation.

Responsibilities

• • Experience in large-scale, complex solutions delivery
• • Supervision of solution implementations using approved methodologies and SDLC
• • Business Process Modelling experience recommended
• • Knowledge of data migration and integration tools
• • Conceptual understanding of IT and methodologies
• • Ability to learn new applications
• • Understanding of business concepts and impact of changes on systems
• • Project management skills
• • Ability to work on simultaneous projects and meet multiple deadlines
• • Knowledge of higher education processes
• • Customer consulting experience recommended
• • Knowledge of Wiki mark-ups and JIRA

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree/advanced diploma in Information Technology (NQF level 7)
• BA Certification, BPM Certification
• International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)
