Responsibilities

  • The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather clear business and technical requirements, facilitating Agile processes, participating in daily Scrum ceremonies, managing the product backlog, writing user stories with acceptance criteria, and continuously identifying and suggesting improvements to Agile and Scrum processes
  • The role also involves facilitating communication between development teams and stakeholders, ensuring smooth project delivery, and serving as the key point of contact for stakeholders
  • Data analysis and reporting are essential for identifying trends, forecasting future needs, and providing actionable insights for business improvement
  • Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps are used to manage requirements, track progress, and report on project metrics
  • Modeling tools like Visio and Figma are also used

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Accredited Business Analysis Diploma will be an advantage
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years focused on Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the Financial or IT industries is a plus – ideally working on web and mobile applications / general understanding of websites and digital channels in general Technical Skills: Familiarity with software development processes and terminology is advantageous
