Description

RCL Foods is searching for a motivated and reliable Transport Clerk to join their baking business unit. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong focus on fleet management and high energy. Reporting directly to the Transport Manager, the Transport Clerk will be responsible for the smooth administration of fleet operations and efficient management of workshop administrative tasks, ensuring all processes related to vehicle fleet are maintained seamlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Review parts catalogues for proper identification
  • Contact vendors for quotes and pricing
  • Prepare parts requisition on Syspro
  • Create GRN and GRV on Syspro
  • Receive shipments and verify vendor invoices for accuracy
  • Record parts/supplies distribution in the system
  • Issue replacement parts to mechanics and depots
  • Assist mechanics in selecting appropriate parts
  • Process job cards on the Freeway system
  • Maintain and balance oil and lubrication stock sheets
  • Assist depots with necessary parts and consumables
  • Conduct periodic stock checks and replenish stock as needed
  • Order and manage bulk fuel supplies
  • Capture tyre job cards on Pro Wheel

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Grade 12
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience, including buying and admin
  • Proficient in English communication
