Description

This role involves assisting and supporting the Product Manager in the development, pricing, and management of Individual Life Risk products. It offers an excellent opportunity for those in the early stages of their actuarial career to gain exposure to a broad range of actuarial skills.

Responsibilities

• Support in research and extract conclusions for product customer value proposition
• Define product specifications for new product developments
• Technical pricing and financial projections for new products
• Ensure products align with legislation and industry guidelines
• Monitor product performance and contribute to benefit development objectives
• Provide sign-off for customer-facing documentation
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and investigations
• Support internal departments like Operations and Distribution
• Contribute to idea generation and process evaluation
• Redevelop products and update enhancements
• Complete policy query requests for the Advice-led segments
• Drive improvements in policy query processes and automate where possible

Qualifications

• 3-year/4-year degree in actuarial science
• At least 5 exemptions achieved as part of degree
