The South African Reserve Bank (SARB) is seeking a Business Analyst to provide comprehensive analysis services across various departments. The main focus of this position is to identify business challenges, determine viable solutions, and drive improvement in organizational processes. The role involves working on projects of low to medium risk, with implementation cycles lasting up to 12 months. As a key contributor, the Business Analyst will facilitate workshops, review processes, analyze data, and propose solutions that meet the business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis projects from initiation to implementation, specifically for low to medium-risk projects
• Independently facilitate workshops and consult with business stakeholders to identify problems and define business needs
• Analyze business processes, assess potential solutions, and document associated requirements
• Develop business cases for proposed solutions, elaborating on their scope and feasibility
• Manage change requests and specifications to support business improvements
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including users and developers, to investigate problems and recommend solutions
• Create manuals, develop training materials, and conduct courses to support solution implementation
• Keep up-to-date with analytical tools and methodologies, applying improvements to streamline work processes

Qualifications

• An Honours degree in Information Technology (IT) or an equivalent qualification
• A relevant Business Analysis certification
• 5 to 8 years of experience in a business analysis role
