Postbank is seeking highly qualified professionals to join its high-performance team in various fields, including IT Banking, Operations Banking, and Project Management within the PMO. This position offers a 6-month interim contract where you’ll engage in high-impact projects across multiple banking functions. The role involves collecting, organizing, and analyzing complex systems data to generate insights that inform executive and business decisions. You will apply expertise in machine learning, statistics, programming, and data visualization to create meaningful analyses and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection: Gather and integrate data from various sources
• Data Analysis: Apply statistical and machine learning techniques
• Data Visualization: Create interactive and informative visualizations
• Insights Generation: Identify trends, patterns, and correlations
• Model Development: Design and train predictive models
• Model Deployment: Implement models into production environments
• Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to understand business needs
• Programming: Utilize SQL, Python, R, and similar programming languages
• Machine Learning: Apply algorithms such as regression, classification, and clustering
• Statistical Analysis: Perform hypothesis testing, manage confidence intervals, and interpret data trends
• Database Management: Work with relational and NoSQL databases in both Windows and Linux environments

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data science or related field
• Experience with cloud-based technologies (AWS, Azure)
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Certified Data Scientist, Certified Analytics Professional, or Certified Business Intelligence Analyst
• Proficiency in data visualization tools, with Power BI as a requirement
• Effective communication skills for presentations and explanations
• Strong collaboration skills for teamwork and stakeholder management
• Problem-solving capabilities, with an analytical and creative approach
• Excellent time management skills for prioritization and meeting deadlines
