This job requires a creative individual to design original artworks and branding in line with fashion trends. The role involves working closely with buyers, fashion designers, manufacturers, printers, and mills to create fashionable prints that reflect each brand's unique DNA. Key responsibilities include designing placement graphics, branding, and all-over prints for various fabric types and garment styles, researching print and fashion trends internationally and locally, advising buyers and designers on how to interpret trends into fashionable graphics for the South African market, and preparing graphics and prints for production from a technical perspective. Qualifications include Graphic Design, Surface/textile design, Fashion Design, technical ability, basic understanding of print techniques, and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
