Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and program methods and systems to analyze diverse and unstructured big data sources to generate actionable insights
• Build, test, and implement machine learning algorithms and statistical models to solve business problems and improve products and services
• Clean, process, and verify data integrity, ensuring high-quality datasets for analysis and model training
• Create SQL queries and software programs to integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple sources
• Visualize and effectively communicate analytical results, insights, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Maintain documentation, manage code reviews, and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in development activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Relevant programming certification (preferred)
• Seasoned experience in a data science role within a corporate environment or related industry
• Strong expertise in statistical modeling, data modeling, machine learning, data mining, unstructured data analytics, and natural language processing
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Javascript
• Experience working with data architectures, including data extraction, cleaning, transformation, and collaboration with data owners
