Description

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, load, and unload goods within the warehouse or production environment. This role ensures that materials and products are handled in a timely and accurate manner to support overall warehouse operations and production flow. The operator will also be required to conduct equipment checks and comply with all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to transport goods and materials
• Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using forklift equipment
• Move materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and production lines
• Stack and organize products in the warehouse according to company standards

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator license or certification (Counterbalance or Reach Truck, etc)
• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification preferred
