Description

As a Financial Accountant at Givaudan, you will play a key role in managing the integrity of the local General Ledger (GL), statutory financial reporting, tax compliance, VAT submissions, and treasury operations. You’ll collaborate with the Givaudan Business Services (GBS) and other internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across financial processes. Responsibilities

• Ensure integrity and completeness of the General Ledger (GL)
• Analyze and reconcile GL accounts in collaboration with GBS and Junior Accountant
• Manage period-end closings and financial reporting
• Coordinate internal and external audits for the legal entity
• Prepare and submit statutory Annual Financial Statements (AFS)
• Maintain the chart of accounts and financial master data
• Manage and file all statutory tax returns including:
• Annual & Provisional Income Tax
• VAT and Deferred VAT payments
• Handle treasury and cash management duties:
• Local liquidity management
• Forward Exchange Contracts (FEC) with Group Treasury
• Local banking relationships and cash operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Minimum 2 years of experience in financial accounting or a related role
