The Data Analyst position in the Western Cape is a mid-level position that involves harnessing retail, customer, and marketing data to generate actionable insights, optimize marketing campaigns, and guide strategic decision-making. Experience with CRM data platforms or customer data tools like Salesforce Data Cloud is highly advantageous. Key responsibilities include developing reports and interactive dashboards, conducting descriptive analysis on retail and customer behavior, evaluating project performance, leading system improvements, and making strategic recommendations. The role requires a business degree with analytical/commercial subjects, a minimum of 5 years of analyst experience, and experience in retail or CRM data. Technical skills include Big Query SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools. The position is market-related and requires dedication to quality, performance under pressure, and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Develop reports and interactive dashboards, conduct descriptive analysis on retail and customer behaviour, and evaluate the performance of various projects and interventions
• Lead the delivery of system improvements and support predictive and prescriptive modelling projects
• Use analytical skills to identify opportunities, make recommendations for future initiatives, and enable better business outcomes
