The UPD Graduate Programme 2025/2026 is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to gain valuable hands-on work experience in one of South Africa's leading pharmaceutical distribution companies. Successful candidates will be placed in various departments at the Johannesburg (Lea Glen) Head Office, reporting to departmental managers. This structured 12-month programme is aligned with the W&R SETA framework and aims to develop the next generation of skilled professionals in the pharmaceutical logistics and retail supply chain industry.

Responsibilities

• Support in warehouse and distribution activities
• Assist with inventory control and reporting
• Participate in process improvement initiatives
• Monitor and analyse supply chain performance metrics
• Support HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, and performance tracking
• Assist in developing and delivering training programmes
• Maintain employee records and assist with administrative HR functions
• Assist with financial reporting, data capturing, and reconciliation
• Support monthly and year-end financial processes
• Maintain accuracy and compliance with financial procedures

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12
• A completed relevant degree or diploma (as listed above)
• No prior work experience
• Currently unemployed
• South African citizenship or legal eligibility to work in South Africa
• Must be willing to commit to the full 12-month duration of the programme
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
