We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier / Customer Service Assistant to join our team. This role is key in creating a positive customer experience by managing transactions efficiently, maintaining accurate cash handling practices, and representing the company with professionalism and warmth. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, trustworthy, and committed to upholding the company's values and customer-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet customers and create a welcoming environment
• Accurately ring up purchases and process various forms of payment
• Issue correct receipts and ensure all transactions are recorded properly
• Balance the till at the beginning and end of each shift
• Assist with basic public relations by answering customer queries and resolving issues professionally
• Promote a positive image of the company through excellent customer service
• Uphold and actively promote the company’s values, culture, and customer service standards

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• Must be proficient in English
• Must be able to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays
• Must be helpful and polite
• Building Material Product knowledge will be an advantage
• 2 – 3 years cashier experience will be an advantage
• Basic computer skills
