The Financial Services Advisory Intern (JHB Illovo) is an internship program designed to provide university students with practical exposure to risk advisory and assurance in the financial services sector. The internship involves structured job shadowing, allowing students to learn about IT systems and internal processes, data risk identification and mitigation, and technology governance assessment in real-world environments. Key learning areas include audit methodologies, IT general controls, data risk assessment, hands-on experience with audit tools, and client engagement processes. The internship requires students to shadow experienced professionals, participate in training sessions, assist with research, attend team meetings, and observe audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting processes. The ideal candidate should have a university degree in Information Systems, Informatics, Information Technology, Actuarial Science, Computer/Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Quantitative Risk Management, or Statistics.

Responsibilities
