SafetySA, a leader in Testing, Inspection, Certification (TIC), and Training, is seeking a Sales Learner to support its sales team in Durban. The role involves lead generation, client research, data management, and administrative tasks, including CRM updates, campaign tracking, and presentation support. The ideal candidate should have Matric (Grade 12), basic Microsoft Office skills, and familiarity with digital tools (Trello, AI tools). A tertiary qualification in Sales/Marketing/Business is advantageous. Must be proactive, tech-savvy, and a strong communicator. This is a contract position offering valuable experience in a safety-focused industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead Generation & Client Contact: Support cold calling, meeting scheduling, and client follow-ups
• Research Support: Conduct basic online research on clients, competitors, and industry trends
• Data Management: Capture and update client and sales data using Excel or CRM tools
• Admin & Presentation Support: Assist with reports, presentations, emails, and general admin tasks
• Campaign & Planning Support: Help plan, track, and report on sales campaigns and team activities
• General Office & Tech Use: Use planning and AI tools to manage tasks and assist with office operations

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12)
• A tertiary qualification (completed or in progress) in Sales, Marketing, Business, or Administration will be advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Comfortable using digital planning tools (eg, Trello, Notion) and AI tools (eg, ChatGPT, Grammarly)
• Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems or applications
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Confident communicator, both written and verbal
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
