Description

Hollard is seeking a Compliance Analyst to provide guidance on identifying relevant compliance risks and support the use of the approved compliance system, HighBond (Diligent). The role requires facilitating compliance control self-assessments, supporting the implementation of compliance procedures, and collaborating across risk management functions for integrated assurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist teams in developing and managing Control Self-Assessments (CSAs)
• Help identify and link business processes to applicable compliance requirements
• Support the design of procedures to manage identified risks
• Assist in the annual review and approval process of Group Compliance Policies
• Draft communications regarding updates to legislation
• Conduct training, awareness, and information sessions as requested
• Share international compliance updates with the Senior Compliance Manager
• Facilitate workshops to assess legislative impacts
• Prepare draft reports using HighBond and present insights
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Work across risk areas to support an integrated assurance model

Qualifications

• A related degree or IISA Licentiate/Associate
• A legal or auditing degree is preferred
• Compliance Management Certificate (NQF 7) is an advantage
• Coding experience in ACL is beneficial
• 1–3 years’ business compliance experience in the Financial Services industry
• Understanding of business process environments (eg sales, partner management)
