Sanlam Group Technology is responsible for the provision of a digitally enabled technology service as a group COE, drive business and transformation and provide group-wide digital and data architecture. We operate the various technology platforms and shared services, ensure Cyber and Information Security resilience, and act as technology governance and risk orchestrator for technology across Sanlam.

Responsibilities

• Create connections between IDQ and Data Sources
• Profile source data
• Design and execute data quality rules and mappings based on business requirements, including the
• development of logical data objects (LDO’s) Assist in deploying mappings that will run in a scheduled, batch, or real-time environment
• Monitoring results in Microsoft PowerBI
• Managing security and access to DQ Dashboard
• Liaising with technical support teams (dba teams, infrastructure teams, application technical leads)
• EDC: Setting up configuration and running of scanners
• Monitoring of scanners
• Using the catalog to show lineage
• EBX: Configuration to integrate EBX with Cloudera
• Supporting Business users to create Reference data in EBX
• Maintaining Business Metadata

Qualifications

• Matric
• IT diploma or Computer Science degree
