Description

eThekwini Municipality is offering exciting opportunities for graduate individuals with no work experience to gain valuable skills and practical exposure through its Graduate and Work Integrated Learning Internship Programme. The programme runs for 18 months for TVET graduates with N6 qualifications, and 24 months for others, within the study fields of Humanities.

Responsibilities

• Interns will be placed in the Outreach & Capacity Building Department, under the Community Development Projects Branch, reporting to the Project Manager
• They will assist with community engagement, research, development planning, training facilitation, monitoring and evaluation, and support other community development initiatives

Qualifications

• Recognized qualifications in the following fields are considered: Social Work
• Social Sciences
• Sociology
• Archaeology
• Community Development
• Development Studies
• Project Management
• Training and Development
• Political Science, International Relations, Psychology
• Applicants must be in possession of a recognized qualification or an N6 for TVET students applying for Work Integrated Learning (WIL) towards Nated Diploma recognition
