Description

The Storeman position is now available at Greenway Farms. This position ensures that the stock is available, well-organized, and readily accessible to support the operations team. The Storeman is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining stock or materials with attention to quality and stock levels. Suitable candidates with relevant Matric, Stores/Warehouse Certificate, Forklift Driving Certificate and relevant experience should apply

Responsibilities

• Receiving Production Materials:Accept and unload incoming shipments of Production materials, parts, stock
• Storing and Organizing Production Inventory:Maintain organization in storage areas, enabling quick retrieval for production needs
• Issuing Production Stock:Fulfil and distribute production stock requests as needed by the Production team
• Inventory Management for Production Stock:Conduct regular stock counts of Production materials to maintain accurate inventory levels
• Record Keeping and Documentation:Use inventory management software to update stock levels for Production materials
• Safety and Maintenance:Ensure that any storage equipment is in good working condition

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Forklift Driving License
• Certificate in inventory management, Stores/Warehouse or equivalent
• 2 years relevant experience in inventory or warehouse management
• 1 year experience with inventory management software for tracking and managing packaging materials
