Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to design and develop software test scripts
• Play a crucial role in identifying software bugs and issues before end-users encounter them
• Drive the software regression lifecycle within an Agile framework
• Develop and execute automated UI and functional test scripts
• Manage individual tasks effectively using Jira
• Maintain and update existing test scripts
• Analyse batch reports and communicate failures to relevant stakeholders
• Follow up with stakeholders to resolve outstanding queries
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gain a deeper understanding of their requirements
• Troubleshoot problems within the automated testing toolset

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial
• 1 year plus of experience in automation testing
• Moderate JavaScript proficiency: capable of writing functions for Puppeteer scripts
• Intermediate experience with Gitlab, VS Code, JSON, Jira, and Linux
• Knowledge of Puppeteer is advantageous
